Consider joining MCFPC!

There are three simple ways to get involved and make a difference:

1. Join the Coalition (as an active member.)
For professionals, organizations, community leaders, service providers, researchers, and other advocates engaged in fall prevention: Participate in monthly coalition meetings, help establish priorities, join workgroups, co-lead projects, share resources, and support efforts to secure funding or partners.

2. Join the Professional Mailing List
For healthcare providers, public health/social service professionals, first responders, and other related practitioners: Receive updates regarding the coalition, community classes, resources, and fall prevention tips to share with your constituents to stay current on best practices.

3. Join the Consumer Mailing List
For community members, caregivers, families, faith groups, volunteers, and anyone else interested in fall prevention: Receive updates with practical tips to help reduce fall risk at home, workshop and screening announcements, local exercise and balance programs, caregiver resources, short safety checklists, and volunteer opportunities.

Why Your Involvement Matters

Falls are preventable! Widespread participation between professional and community settings multiplies the impact. Better coordination, shared resources, and more effective programs reach more people sooner. Joining our efforts in any capacity can help improve safety, independence, and quality of life for older adults across Milwaukee County.
